USA Mission Trip
Even though the USA is one of the world’s wealthiest nations, there is still plenty of ministry that can be done here at home. PPM has a unique approach to missions state-side. Our passion is still to serve the international church, which is why your PPM-USA mission trip will partner you with an international community and church in the United States. In Miami, for example, you can serve in the Jamaican or Haitian church, while in Chicago you can experience a little bit of Belizean culture, or head to Tucson to work with the welcoming Mexican community. Your domestic trip will give you a taste for an international culture and could be a stepping-stone for a future international mission trip. |
Why PPM USA?
Praying Pelican Missions is offering three locations within the United States for an international experience that provides growth in cultural sensitivity as well as a focus on leadership development. This opportunity is a great way to prepare a team for a future international trip or to broaden your experience with a culture that you have encountered on a previous PPM trip. These trips are middle school age friendly and customizable to include some "fun" days.

General Location Information
Miami
234,000 Haitian-Americans call Florida home, making it the
most concentrated Haitian population in the world outside of
Haiti! Most live in the Miami area where Haitian culture is
strong and evident—brush up on your French Creole!
South Florida’s Jamaican-American population is now over 100,000 people. Vibrant Jamaican culture underscores the gospel and enlivens ministry in our partner church communities.
