We Made it!!

We made it to Belize safe and are having a wonderful time of ministry! This morning we participated in Sunday School. We also had a great afternoon of ministry and serving at homes and hospital visits in the community. There is a church service going on tonight. There are worship songs, testimonies, and messages being shared. We are all so excited to be here and are very thankful for all the prayers and support from back home!

A week to remember!

Monday was an amazing day!
Our day started out with a quick time of journaling and reflection on the Corozal Bay overlooking the Caribbean Sea -a unique way to start any day. We got started on our construction projects and worked through the early afternoon, breaking only for lunch. We are building cement support columns at the church and we are laying a cement floor for a family in the congregation. Last night we hosted a youth night where nearly 100 children and youth joined us in games, music, and worship.
This morning we are at the Nazarene School here in town, shifting children through stations: games, stories, music, and crafts. This afternoon we will be heading to the Cerros Mayan Ruins.

Final Days

Yesterday we spent the afternoon touring the Cerros Mayan Ruins on the cost of the Corozal Bay. It was a good experience. Most certainly something that can't be done in the US.
Our night was filled with worship as we led a service at the church.
This morning we are back at the school working with the children. We will be wrapping up and working on our cement projects this afternoon after lunch. Once the children are out of school this afternoon, we will host a sports ministry out in the community park.
It's a busy day, but it will be a great way to wrap up our week of ministry in Corozal, Belize.
