We Made It!
by Lindsey K. Wible
June 29, 2008 at 12:24 PM

We had a rough start with flight delays and won't get our luggage until this evening, but we are here and happy and trust Him. We are ready to serve alongside Reverend Wilson and Savannah La Mar Baptist Church. It's a beautiful day and we're enjoying getting to know brothers and sisters from other parts of the US and Jamaica. Please continue to pray for safety, wisdom, and God's victory. Thanks!

Though we got in late and spent the first 2 nights without our luggage, we are safe and serving in Savannah La Mar, Jamaica. We've shared love and laughter with the other 3 teams from the U.S. serving with us, Savannah La Mar Baptist circuit, and the Jamaicans we've met in the community. We've repaired a bathroom and painted, amongst other things, at Kirkham Baptist Church. We've run a VBS at Savannah La Mar Baptist Church with over 100 kids. We've led a Bible Study. We've been blessed with hope, joy, and energy through it all as we bless others. Please continue to pray for us this week. Thank you!

Praying today that God will show you exactly where He is working. May God be real and meet each one of you personally today! Blessings to you!

Mike Eaves

Today's prayer for you was to remain focus on what God is about to do on the work he has sent you to do. We are praying for strength and wonderful blessings that only God can provide. Verse for the day: Psalm 143:8 "Let me experience Your faithful love in the morning, for I trust in You. Reveal to me the way I should go, becasue I long for you." God is so Good.

Praying today that God is opening hearts and minds to receive the good news about Jesus! You may be starting to get tired, but don't give up! You are on a mission for the only living, true God! He has great things in store for you! What a blessing you are to Savannah La Mar :-) Love you and miss you! Miss Linda

We are praying for you all as you minister in a place that so desperately needs the hope of the one and only Living God. May you have peace and strength and the courage to to take on every challenge God gives you to minister to each person he puts in your path.

Hello everyone! I am praying today that your bodies are adjusting to the food and water in the area. Also praying for God to open hearts so they can receive the love of Christ you are offering. May God bless and change lives through the work you are doing. Miss you all! Miss Linda

I am committed to praying for you each & every day. All The Lord ask is for us to have willing spirits, & He will do the rest. I had the pleasure of watching the babies in the nursery. I became Allee's friend, I gave her some Cherrios, then she wanted to feed me. I made a new friend today. Praise The Lord!

Hi Everyone, Hope all is well and you are getting a renewed strength and energy that only He can provide after such a long flight (day) and quite an early morning. We thought of and prayed for you all often this morning in church. Trav...Allee kept asking everyone at church today for her "dada". They all reminded her you were on a trip. She is asking for you as I type. :0) When will your group photo be up? Right now there is a photo of another group... Well, enjoy serving Him in a very different climate and area of the world this week. We'll keep you in our prayers daily. We love you maw maw, paw paw and dada.

Hi Guys, Just wanted to let you know we, the church, are praying for you. We are thankful that God has given us willing, obedient servants to take the love of Christ to Savannah La Mar! We believe that you are in the right place at the right time according to His plan and that you are under His special protection and care. We are praying for good weather and good heath for each team member. We are asking the Lord to let you have fun as He provides you opportunities for lives to be changed. We are praying that God will equip you with encouragement, wisdom, and renewed strength each day and that you will lean on Him every moment and trust Him in all things. We are asking God to open the hearts so that He can do "super-abundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams" (Ephesians 3:20) in the hearts of those touched by Him. We are excited to see how God is going to use each one of you to further His kingdom and how each one of you are going to become spiritually stronger as you continue to grow. May God's blessings be ever plentiful! We love you and miss you! Miss Linda.
