We arrived at 11:30 this morning and jumped right into ministry! After lunch we visited the Youth Hostel! We were invited to hang out with the teens that live there! Our girls spent the afternoon polishing fingernails and jumping rope while the boys played basketball! After the Youth Hostel We drove through beautiful Belize all the way to Dangriga where we will be serving the Lord this week!! After two days of travel we are all tried, but egger to start this life changing week of ministry!!

This morning we went our first Belizean church service at Faith Assembly of God! We spent some time before Sunday school getting to know one another and inviting people to church that morning. Our group was invited to lead Sunday school for the four youth and children classes! After Sunday school we came together for a time of worship. We a few sang praise songs before Erin shared her testimony and the pastor shared a word from Job chapter one! This afternoon we did some home visits and street evangelism to invite people to church and the VBS we will be leading this week!

Today was our first day of VBS and we had 120 children. God is so good!! We had four stations with crafts and games. After a snack all the kids came together for a bible story and song! It was an exciting morning. After lunch we went to Solid Rock Christian Academy to lead a basketball camp and sports ministry. After a short camp time we had a tournament, Americans verse Belizeans. Before we left some of us shared testimonies with the teens and kids who participated!

We had our second day of VBS today! Our bible story was the Good Samaritan. During the bible story many kids devoted their life to God! We had games at the park and added a music station! Today was an awesome day for VBS!!

This afternoon we headed to St. Herman’s cave and the Blue Hole! It was so awesome to be able to experience God's beautiful creation as we walked through the jungle into the cave. Once we reached the end of the cave we turned off all our flash lights and had a short quite time before singing "Open the Eyes of My Heart," it was a very powerful moment. After the Cave we had some time to swim in the man made Blue Hole We are rested and looking forward to a full day of ministry tomorrow!

Today was our third and final day of VBS. We had a great time and shared the story of the woman at the well. After VBS we had sports ministry. Basketball camp had a good turn out as well as the other sports. We also made bracelets and polished nails for girls! Tonight we had church at Faith AOG! The service was inspiring as we got to hear testimonies from Joey and Emma! At our team meeting we shared moments where we saw God at work this week.

This morning we worked on a playground at the school. We painted the swing set, redid the fence, and played with some kids who showed up. This afternoon we had an awesome time at youth club at the park! This evening we had a closing service at Faith AOG. We shared stories and thanks with the pastor and the community!

We spent our last day in Belize as a day of reflection and rest. We woke up SUPER early and drove to Belize City then rode the water taxi to Caye Caulker. After a fun day of recreation we had a closing meeting in order to debrief and reflect on all the amazing things that God did this week in Dangriga!
