The group got in and was ready and prepared to have a great week here in Belize. After arriving safely, we made our way into the city, grabbed some Pizza after which we headed over to Dorothy Menzies Child Care center to spend some time with the children and finally left for our ministry site in Orange Walk.

Today was a great day. We worshipped with the Douglas Baptist Church in the morning. We lead the service in worship, testimonies and teaching. We also led Sunday school for the youth. It was amazing to get to know the congregation.

Tonight we led a service at the sister church of Douglas for a four o’clock service. We led in worship songs, testimonies and teaching. It was an amazing night of relationship building and learning the culture of the community we are serving in this week.

Today we walked around the community meeting new people and building relationships. We went out to ask the children to the different events that are taking place during the day. Later we went to the school and taught the students about Jonah and the Whale. We played games and sang songs as well. Then we went to a park and hung out with kids and played games. We had a lot of fun laughing and learning about each other. Tonight we will be leading the youth in a service just for them. We are looking forward to what else God has in store for us this week.

Today was an amazing day! In the morning we went to the Douglas Church and visited homes and prayer walked through out the community. Then in the after noon we went to Lamanai, the Mian ruins, and climbed the HIgh Temple. We were able to see the wonderful creation that God as made and enjoy feeling of awe that came with it.

Today we held two school ministries! At the school ministry we played games in a big circle and sang a few songs. Then we took the kids inside for a bible lesson and crafts! We stayed for about two hours before heading to the next school. Several teenage boys accepted Christ!! After the school ministry we went to the park for our sports ministry! We played games and ministered to the kids from the village! Wednesday night we had a closing service!! We don anted some clothes and all of our supplies. The host church was very good to us this week and we wanted to show our gratitude.

Thursday moring we woke up super early and headed to Caye Caulker. We spent the day relaxing and taking in all the happend this week! We had an awesome debrifing meeting were we affirmed one another and worshipped together for the last time. We then went to dinner and had alot of fun eating and talking to one another. Today we left early and went to the mainland to catch our flights home and to say the last good byes to all our new friends. It has been an amazing trip!!!
