Hola from Playa Del Carmen!
We arrived here yesterday after a smooth trip. Everyone is safe, happy, and warm! We made it to the church named, C.D.I. .Iglesia Bautista Filadelfia, where we were introduced to Pastor Jose and his wonderful family. We were able to see the town, meet some locals, and witness a bit of a soccer game. We ended the night with a time worship praising our Lord and Savior! Cannot wait to see what else God has in store for our team this week!

Hello, wow God is so good! It has been a wonderful trip so far! On Sunday the leaders and kids had an opportunity to share their testimonies, Pastor Nic gave the sermon, and there were children's ministries with lots of play-doe! That night we also had an incredible time of worship with more testimonies, as well as a rockin' Belizian concert by our very own trip leader, Burton and a member from his band.
Yesterday we had several different work projects here at the church. Painting, hauling bricks, clearing out and organizing areas. Of course had a much needed siesta, and went out to evangelize spread Christ's love to everyone we came in contact with. We played 4-square, soccer, blew bubbles, and had a chance to pray with many different locals.
Today we were able to get our hands dirty and worked with Pastor Rudolfo. We laid concrete, scraping the walls, and painting both the inside and the outside of the church. Afterwards we walked around the area inviting youth and children to come join us at the park.
Continue to pray us daily as we are spreading God's word and being his hands and feet!
