by Jim July 12, 2010 at 08:51 AM Greetings from Jamaica! We have arrived safely and a picture of us will be posted soon! We are already busy at our ministry sites, so be praying for us as we are serving the Lord! 
VBSby Lindsey July 12, 2010 at 11:59 AM After arriving, we sang praise songs as we drove through the Jamaican blue mountains to our lodging. There, we met with the rest of the team, spent some time in worship and talked about the week. This morning we have been doing VBS with 2 different churches within the same circuit here in Jamaica. More kids came than expected, and they say there will be many more as the week goes on! It's hot and humid, but there's a wonderful breeze through the exotic trees. We've been soaking in the Jamaican culture, learning Patois (a language in Jamaica), riding in vehicles on the left side of the road, and eating new things. We've gotten to eat Jamaican patties, papaya, and Jamaican sweet potato. We're excited to learn more as we work together with the Jamaican churches here. Thank you for your prayers!

It's mid-week already!by Lindsey July 14, 2010 at 07:08 PM The days so far have been full of VBS, which grows more every day, at two different Jamaican churches, Snow Hill and Exchange, in the morning, and in the afternoon, we've been painting and doing cement work at a Jamaican church called Parry Town. Today, we went to an infirmary, which is a government-run place where people live if they can't take care of themselves and they don't have anyone to take care of them. We talked with them, prayed with them, and listened to their stories. It was eye-opening. Please continue to pray that God will work in us, through us, and in spite of us. Thank you!
Last day of ministry
by Brian Zeschke July 16, 2010 at 03:45 PM Today was a sad day as we finished up with ministry this morning. We went to Exchange Baptist Church this morning and led VBS for the final time there. The children were all sad to see us leave, but we know that they enjoyed their time with us this week. We will never forget their faces. . . Find out more about our trips to
