The team has arrived in Jamaica safe and sound. After getting through customs and immigration the team loaded a bus and traveled about an hour to the lodging facility. On the way we hit a familiar place (Burger King) to grab some lunch. Once we got to where we are staying, we unpacked, settled and then enjoyed our first Jamaican meal. After dinner we all met as a large group, 97 of us, and Marko shared in a devotion and thought provoking message to get the week started. Now it pretty quiet as the team is bedded down for a good nights sleep so they will be ready for their first big day tomorrow. Thanks for the prayers and continued prayers.

We jumped right in at Duncan school this morning with the story of David and Goliath! The kids loved it!

St. Ann's

The team was able to visit a local infirmary and meet several residents. We prayed and read scripture. What a great day! We are blessed!!

El Shaddei preschool

We had a great surprise today on our prayer walk. We came across a preschool and were able to spend some time with the children. Oh my gosh what a great day!!

Last day...

Our last day at the school saw a much smaller class which allowed for more one on one time with the students. We made friendship bracelets, colored, and played with puppets. The highlight of the morning was Austin teaching about space to the 3 boys-they were enthralled for quite some time-and even answered most of his questions. In the afternoon we headed back to St. Ann's where the girls learned more about their friend Wendy. Hard to believe the week of mission is over and we head home on Sunday.
