We made it!!

by Shelby Hardison | June 24, 2016 9:57 PM

Such a great reunion seeing Pastor Jacky and the PPM staff tonight! We are super pumped for a great week of expecting God to work in us, on us and through us!
We made it!!

Firm foundations

by Shelby Hardison | June 25, 2016 9:22 PM

We started moving rocks to form the foundation of the school today, but during break time we had the chance to play and continue relationships with some of the kids from the community. Seeing change in the buildings around Pastor Jacky's property during the past three years of partnership is absolutely incredible, but the complete joy in watchig kids grow physically and spiritually is the very best.
Firm foundations

Community Evangelism

by Shelby Hardison | June 25, 2016 9:57 PM

People welcomed us into their homes, prayers of healing were prayed, children joined us and excitement about our week of youth activities was shared!

BONDYE BON!

by Shelby Hardison | June 26, 2016 7:45 PM

God is good all the time; all the time God is good! No matter what language we speak, when brothers and sisters in Christ come together to share in the goodness of God despite any circumstance, worship is authentic and spirit-filled. Shane, Ryan, Benji and Pastor Jacky all shared powerful messages that the Lord put on their hearts today and we had the chance to lead the church in Haitian worship song!

Love without fear

by Shelby Hardison | June 26, 2016 7:56 PM

Some of us first-timers were a little scared to see how the kids would accept us in this community since we had never been here before, but within the first 10 minutes of meeting these kids it is like we have known them forever. God's perfect love casts out fear and it is so evident that His spirit is working in the community of Lafito and in the kids we are building relationships with this week. After an awesome day today all we can do is stop in complete gratefulness of what God is doing in the details of every aspect of this trip.
Love without fear

Yummy worship!

by Shelby Hardison | June 26, 2016 8:28 PM

We made bean and plate music shakers with the kids today and they may have ended up eating most of the beans, but we had tons of fun dancing and singing while they lasted!
Yummy worship!

Youth group fellowship!

by Shelby Hardison | June 26, 2016 8:33 PM

Today at the youth group gathering we were able to hear from most of the youth from the church and it was so good to be reminded that the similarities in how God teaches us to love Him and people counter-culturally is the same in both the states and in Haiti!

Smiles and more rocks

by Shelby Hardison | June 27, 2016 8:39 PM

Even though our arms are incredibly tired from passing so many rocks, our hearts are full from encouragement as we work together as one big family.

New Haitian chefs!

by Shelby Hardison | June 27, 2016 8:42 PM

Some of us took a small break from construction today and learned a little in Haitian vegetable sauce making! We are so grateful for the hard work that the cooks have been doing all week to provide such delicious food!

Hello? Oh hey!

by Shelby Hardison | June 27, 2016 8:45 PM

So many memories! Today, during construction we played telephone with a newly discovered treasure!

Many hands, light loads

by Shelby Hardison | June 29, 2016 12:49 PM

Last day of construction and ministry yesterday was fun! We sang Christmas songs while passing rocks, water and Trenton!
