Haiti, our Home for the week!

by Rudy Bazin | June 25, 2016 4:53 PM

We made it safely to our "home" for the week! After we got here today, we visited ashca, a home for mentally and physically disabled people and spent some time with everyone there. There's a great week ahead! We're already anticipating great things to happen in the Name of Jesus! We'll try our best to keep you from back home updated as much as possible but please, keep us in your prayers as this has proven to be a great way for you to get involve!

Worship service

by Rudy Bazin | June 27, 2016 7:19 AM

Yesterday morning was an early morning for us here in Haiti but man was it worth it! We took some time to share our testimonies with the congregation hoping that God would use all the ways that He's shaped our lives to encourage everyone. Not that He didn't do that but the church surprised us with lunch that we did not expect to bless us! After church we went and spent some time at the GSO orphanage and hung out with the kids there. It was precious! Today is going to be a busy day with all the different ministries we have planned out. Please keep us in your prayers for the Lord's plans to prevail!

Kids ministry!

by Rudy Bazin | June 28, 2016 7:50 AM

Over 100 kids showed up yesterday for kids ministry. WAY over what we were expecting for the first day! We loved every minute we had to love on them! It's amazing that God has called us to make an impact on this generation here in Haiti. While we are planting seeds of love, truth and service in the lives of those we've encountered so far, we're excited to know that God is the one who will make them grow and bear fruit! We have many other ministries going in down here this week like the women's and sport's ministries that also went really well yesterday. It's going to be a great day today and we already can't wait to see God in action! Keep us in your prayers and feel free to post comments below. That will be an encouragement to all of us!

Women's Bible Study

by Rudy Bazin | June 29, 2016 10:15 AM

It's been so much fun studying the bible with the women at bwadjout! We did prepare lessons for them and all that but seeing how God is using them to also teach us is amazing! It's definitely not only about us teaching them or them teaching us but rather, the body of Christ coming together and edify, build each other up! The Lord is definitely moving in this place in incredible ways this week in and through our team. Be lifting us up before the throne cause we know the enemy is not happy!

Concrete Partay

by Rudy Bazin | June 30, 2016 6:04 AM

Today was our last day of ministry and we were able to finish strong! We had to pass tons of buckets of sand, gravel, water and lastly concrete to get the job done. While we're excited to work hard, we were even more excited to see more relationships being formed between us and the people from the church and the community! Many of us have been working on this building since the very beginning so it's definitely been really nice to see it coming together now so beautifully! God is good!

Through tree ministry this week, we had over 7 people that accepted Christ! We're so humbled that God chose to use us to bring these people back to him!
