Arrival!!

by Gabriel Cruz Rosa | June 25, 2016 10:25 PM

The team, after arriving late at night was eager for a big day of ministry today. After breakfast the team went to Modesto Gotay, a home for disabled people, to share the time and love of Christ through painting playing games. They also visited the elderly home named Hogar Caribou, to spend time and stories with the elderly.

After an amazing day of ministry, both times during the evening were taken to eat delicious natural flavored ice cream. There were a lot of different flavors such as guanabana, corn, passion fruit, coconut and other tasty flavors. It was a great end to a first day of ministry.

The team had a great morning of worship in church where God's presence was felt in a great way. After that the team got the opportunity to taste some flappez with flavors such as Nutella, Oregon, and cheesecake. They spent time interacting with the community of the church and the pastors. After an amazing lunch the team was ready to start planning the VBS for the week, which they were really excited about. Ending with a great evening of playing basketball with the youth of the church, they close another great day.
