Praying Pelican Missions has had over 8,000 short term missionaries serving in 70 different communities throughout Belize, Jamaica and Mexico. We have had teams join us from all over the United States and in Canada. Each year, there is sufficient need to open the doors to 20 new communities. Now, more than ever, we need people to do God's work in these communities.

Our vision is to be a short-term mission organization that glorifies Jesus Christ in all that we do. We want to create an environment that impacts our own people as much as the people we are ministering to. Praying Pelican Missions provides daily devotionals for our participants and encourages teams to use them. We hold nightly meetings with our groups with a time of worship and reflection of what God has done each day throughout the week. Christ is at the center of all we do and we pray that individuals would be changed, communities would be blessed, and above all God would be glorified!

[People]When you sign up for a Praying Pelican Missions trip, members of our staff provide you with everything that you need to prepare for your trip up to the day of departure. When participants arrive in their host country, on-site PPM staff members guide your group according to a trip itinerary that has been arranged prior to the trip. We focus on logistics and safety so you can focus on doing what you are there to do.

There are so many ways to serve on a Praying Pelican Missions trip. Many different ministry options are available from Mercy to Service, so we are certain to find a way to glorify God that fits everybody's gifting.

Your trip can be simple yet purpose-driven, or it can be service and educational - we can offer a range of experiences for you and your group! Churches or hotels, local cooks or restaurants - your trip is tailored to your specifications.

Safe

Praying Pelican Missions staff members are experienced and prepared for anything. Safety is the number one priority. Staffers have cell phones, transportation and medical kits on site at all times. They know where the local clinics and hospitals are in case of emergency. You can be assured that you are in good hands with Praying Pelican Missions.
