Praying Pelican Missions aims to make the most of our short-term mission experiences for both the mission team and the local community. We are able to best achieve this goal by being flexible regarding skills each specific mission team has and placing them where the greatest benefit can be acheived. This creates a win-win situation for everyone.

Praying Pelican Missions teams always serve through and with the local community. Progress that is made and relationships that are borne on the trips can continue to be cultivated long after the team has left for the year. The PPM teams provide an infusion of energy, love, and excitement for God that helps the local community in many ways, from increasing local church participation to helping with sorely needed physical projects. Every ministry is done with the greater purpose of building relationships with the local community and reflecting the love of Jesus Christ.
