Minneapolis, Minnesota Mission Trip

Bring the Mission Home

 Minneapolis Mission Trip

The Twin Cities is a culturally diverse metropolitan area rich in history and culture. The area is abundant with rivers, lakes and waterways. Often recognized as one of the best cities to live in, and well known as appealing to the outdoorsman, over 3.5 million people call the metro area home. A strong job market, coupled with the tradtional "Minnesota nice" attitude attracts immigrants to the area who are looking to settle in a stable, strong economy. Rural Midwest farm land lies just outside "the Cities," urban living is popular in both the heart of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, and suburban American families call growing cities like Maple Grove, Woodbury, and Blaine home.

PPM has forged partnerships with many local churches and parachurch ministries which give both student groups and intergenerational mission teams an opportunity to experience cultural and religious diversity. Children's ministry, prayer walking, evangelism, work projects, homeless outreach and community events are a taste of the ministry opportunities that teams experience while serving in the Twin Cities.

Minneapolis is a perfect regional short term mission trip opportunity for church and school groups in the Midwest. Come serve alongside pastors who care deeply about their communities, partner with local staff who are invested spiritually in making a difference, and join Praying Pelican Missions as we strive to be a bridge between cultures in this spiritually, culturally, and ethnically diverse metro area that is ready for revival.
