Cornerstone Prep

Cornerstone Prep arrived safely in Whiteville, NC. The team prepped living spaces, completed day one devotion, and ended the evening with praise and worship. 

The Team enjoyed a great Palm Sunday service at our host church Crossroads Church.  Lunch was provided by Crossroads Church as well.

Yesterday, we worked on Crossroads Church's prayer garden at their new property. We spent some time preparing to lay bricks, digging up deeply rooted weeds, and clearing out space around a shade tree. Look at the size of these roots! 

After completing our project, we got to test out the new "playground" at the church. Pastor Billy told us about plans to add a swing and a place to enjoy some sweet tea in the shade. 

Today we distributed food with Facts of Life Church. This distribution is open to both NC and SC residents. Hundreds of people receive food here each week. The church hosts distributions out of this doublewide trailer, but they are in the process of building a larger space to better help the community and volunteers.
