Sunday morning we had the awesome privilege to worship with Faith United Church of Christ. We enjoyed getting to pray together, worship together, and get to know each other.

Sunday afternoon we got a chance to ride the bus and train around the city. As we stopped in different neighborhoods, we got the chance to pray for things effecting those areas.

Monday morning we started off serving with La Casa Norte, a non-profit that focuses on combating youth homelessness in the city. We got to serve in a variety of ways around their building and are looking forward to helping with their block party on Wednesday!

The final group was the community clean up crew. They picked up trash around the community as a way to help the relationship between the community and the shelter. They were thanked by many neighbors and felt appreciated for what they were doing.

Monday afternoon we got to go to another honeless shelter and help by cleaning and taking clothes up to their free thrift store on the 5th floor. There is no elevator so team work made the dream work.
