Trip Set-Up Day

by Adam McLane | June 22, 2018 11:20 AM

Ronnie and Adam arrived in Ensenada yesterday where we met with our host church, Pastor Luis Ochoa, and had set-up meetings. Later on Thursday night we met with our church partners and had an opportunity to review all of our plans as well pray together for the week to come. This meeting was full of joy and laughter as everyone gets to know one another.

Also last night Ronnie and I got to meet three new staff members that will be serving alongside us this week as assistant trip leaders: Joe, Adriana, and Luisa.

The churches in Ensenada are very excited to receive our teams and can't wait to meet them on Saturday night.

Trip Set-Up Day

And we are off!

by Adam McLane | June 24, 2018 8:05 AM

We got tucked in at our host location and the trip officially got underway at about 11:00 pm last night. Yesterday we overcame flight delays, some major traffic crossing the border, skipped a stop because of a bull fight, and suffered a bus break down that took 3 hours to replace. All the while our church partners patiently waited, prayed for us, and kept dinner warm to greet us. 6 hours late and all smiles. Welcome to PPM Baja! Viva!

And we are off!

La Paz

Men’s House Ministry

by Adam McLane | June 26, 2018 12:47 PM

This morning our team felt lead to bring lunch to the men’s house, a home for disabled people and men in drug rehabilitation. How amazing is it to see families making breakfast alongside their new friends!

Celebrating a great day of ministry!

by Adam McLane | June 26, 2018 10:24 PM

This morning our team made breakfast for the men’s ministry house. After lunch we hosted a great time of kids ministry in the community. And after that? On the way back “home” we stopped for paletas (frozen fruit bars) and aqua frescas. (Fruit juice and ice.)

Hospital and jail Ministry success!

by Adam McLane | June 27, 2018 3:21 PM

This morning we made 200 tortas (sandwiches) and distributed them to families at the hospital as we as inmates at the local municipal jail. It is so powerful to be the literal hands and feet of Jesus offering comfort and mercy to His people.

Adventuring in Ensenada

by Adam McLane | June 29, 2018 7:49 AM

Thursday was our day off from ministry. We had the opportunity to see La Bufadora, a local attraction, as well as discover some hot springs on a local beach. Finally, last night we celebrated all that God has done with weekend with a special thanksgiving service.
