We had the first VBS this afternoon and played games, sang songs and acted out the Creation story from Genesis.  At least 145 kids showed up today. What a blessing!

We visited some houses in the community of Alotenango and had the opportunity to pray for the families affected by Volcano Fuengo. Hearing their testimonies of how God helped them to be safe was really impressive and encouraged our faith!

We had the chance to meet 4 families in a refugee center that we displaced because of the eruption of Volcano Fuego.  We prayed for them and for their future plans of coming back to La Aldea where they have always lived.

It's our last day of VBS!  We shared with the kids how God loves us so much that He sent his only Son to die on a cross for each one of us.  Salvation comes because of the grace of Jesus!

This evening we sang some songs for the members of our host church.  We worshiped in Spanish and in English!  It's amazing knowing we praise the same great God!  Hallelujah!

We had the privilige to build a house made by wood for the victims of the volcano eruption.  We worked alongside the Guatemalan Army to finish the work on time!  We can really say that God's plan is always perfect.

We were able to spend a day in the old city of Antigua,Guatemala.  It was so much fun getting to explore the colorful city and do some souvenir shopping too!
