Heritage United Methodist Church

We have arrived at the sunny and beautiful island of The Bahamas! We are excited to encounter God in a different way this week! Prayers up!

We enjoyed worshipping and sharing testimonies with the members of Cornerstone Zion International!

We cleaned and painted the church. All hands on deck, Go Team!

We walked around the neighbourhood to get the kids and talk to the residents! 

We went to a nursing home and met some lovely people! Some of us painted their nails, told them bible stories, and braided their hair!

Day Two of VBS was amazing! We did some crafts teaching the kids about Jesus and how He would leave the 99 sheep and go for the one that strayed! Because He loves us all the same no matter what we do!

It was such a fun experience to work together to paint the inside of the church and cleaned the plastic covering for the windows!

The last day of VBS we taught the kids the importance of knowing John 3:16. We also showed them how to make friendship bracelets it was such a fun experience!

We had such an amazing time this week working alongside Cornerstone Zion International getting to know the people in the church and around the community was such an amazing experience. Hearts were touched in different ways through kids ministry and construction. God worked through everyone in unique ways all week!
