Bridgetown Church of Christ

We are proud to be the first mission group to use the new facility in Añasco, Puerto Rico. We are excited to put it to good use!

God is so faithful! We are thankful to have a place to praise God together. It's already been a blessed morning and we know that this week is going to be amazing!

Today we went through the community walking in faith, praying for all who needed prayer, and believing that God has already heard us.  It was an honor to have Pastor Lou accompany us!  It truly is more blessed to give than to receive, our cups were filled up as we poured out Jesus' love to others today!

 God is Love and that Love must be shared with everyone!

After finishing the prayer walks, we took the children to a treehouse that is built on a Ceiba tree, then walked a bit by the beach.  We are taken aback by the beauty of Puerto Rico and its nature. God’s creation is breathtaking! 

We finished the day with worship after a hearty meal. We also enacted a small play directed by our youth for the devotional. So proud of our kids for showing such initiative and heart. 

Today we were in the community Jose Aponte and had the opportunity to pray for Miguel (a social worker), for the early Head Start teachers, and for the students that will be there next semester. We are blessed!

We brought crafts, Bible stories, and candy to the children in the community. With curious eyes, they learned about how God created our world and everything around us. 

We had another great day! God allowed us to have teams working in different areas, helping Joseph with his ministry Puerto Rico Somos Gente. Our little heroes did their part by mounting the curtains of the bathrooms. We feel so blessed to be serving in Puerto Rico.

One of the many projects we worked on this week, was painting at the Living Water Vineyard Church.  We painted the rooms a beautiful blue color!

We love craft time!  We are thankful for being able to use our hands to bless San Agustín Stahl Community and be blessed at the same time. God is wonderful!

Our last day at San Agustin Stalh was AMAZING. The children were a blessing! We were able to do crafts, talk about Jesus, and blow bubbles. It was the perfect ending to an amazing week there.

Before we said farewell, we blessed our host lodging partner by writing prayers and good thoughts on a whiteboard. We know God has many more things to do in this community. We’re glad we got to be the first team to work towards God's amazing plan for Puerto Rico.
