The team has arrived a few hours ago! Everything has been settled for the evening and the team is ready for an amazing week ahead of them filled with God’s love. Please be praying for this team and for the spiritual growth that will take place in their hearts. Feel free to write comments for your loved ones too see!

The team is getting to know more on what serving with Praying Pelicans is all about. We’ve discussed how important devotional time is to be able to really engage in a prayer relationship with Jesus and listen to what He is speaking to us. We’ve also emphazied how God really does have a plan and purpose for each and every one of the individuals here on this trip! We’re all looking forward to the week ahead and God’s plan!

Today is our first day and we are already preparing and getting ready to serve. We made sandwiches for those in need, wrote a special note and message (including bible verses) on the bags that we will be distributing tomorrow afternoon after church. Ready to spread seeds of love, hope and kindness.

This morning we woke up early to have devo time, then breakfast and now having a beautiful time to share each other’s stories, and pray for one another. Preparing for our first outreach day so that we can be ready to pray for others as we serve in the community. 

For many of us this is the first time we pray out loud. 

We had a beautiful service at Bay Hills Community Church where we were reminded that God always comes through, the different phases of faith we each might be own.

And after a full and beautiful day we had pizza and ice cream! The pizza slides were huge and the ice cream was delicious! 

We got to pray at one of the local court houses for people that were going in and out. We took special praying requests, and closed in group prayer. We each got to pray in our own language, Eleven languages were represented! God is good! We can people people every where we go. 

We closed with group prayer, we each got to pray in our own language. Eleven languages were represented. 

We are a Masterpiece! He made us in His image, wonderful, beautiful and unique! We are special!

We are here and ready to transform Bays Hills Community Church! Up by 5:40 had devotional and got to Bay Hills Community Church by 7:30 am.

And within all, we always have fun! Making new friends, bonding while serving the San Francisco Bay community. We worshiped, played the piano, sang, tried their tech panel.

We built shelves to organize items behind stage. Cleared, cleaned and organized the back area.

We learned how to properly paint! Thanks Ps. David for taking the time to teach us. Future nursery getting done!

Mission completed! We sanded doors, painted offices and hallways, built shelves, cut wood, prepared invite cards for Easter weekend, cleaned floors, painted signs, and organized. Our work has improved the look and feel of Bay Hills Community Church and made it prettier.

Our work will impact the whole community!  We leave this week knowing that we have made a huge difference in the Bay Area. Ps. David blessed us before leaving with:

We made a difference! Our hard work, and efforts will pay off because we made a difference.

Bonding with the kids at the Multicultural Senior and Family Center is always special. We got to play with them, see their smiles, and spread a bit of love in their lives.  

Yesterday we spent our last afternoon with the children in Richmond. It may have been sad to say goodbye to the kids, but at least they made the time count, filled with another fun day at the park!

Starting our day right, connecting with our Heavenly Father should be our first priority.  He desires and wants to have a relationship with you and hang out with you in all areas of your life. Wishes to hang out with you and be with you always, not just when you need Him. We must never get too busy that we don’t have time to connect with Him. He loves you and you are His masterpiece.

Today we got to explore downtown San Francisco, and Chinatown. It was a beautiful day! We had some great food, great company, got to experience something knew. We had a great time with our team! Great way to close our last day. Reflecting on everything we had the opportunity to be part of. We are going home with experiences that changed our lives.

We made it to the Golden Gate Bridge. It was an adventure! San Francisco you have changed our lives! 

It has been an amazing, beautiful, and blessed week where many of us experienced new things, grew spiritual and got to be His hands and feet serving in four ministries: Children’s ministry, service projects, praying outreaches, and feeding the homeless. It was a week full of work, lots of effort and love where we saw and experience God at work. May we take everything we have learned into our communities, school and daily lives. May we from now on have a stronger relationship with God and connect with Him daily, for we are His Masterpiece and He has big plans for us!

We will be praying for you for each of you were created with a purpose to achieve great and huge things!  May you go into the world 🌎 and continue to be His Hamds and feet where ever He takes you! It was a beautiful week to see you all grow, and have boldness to accomplish amazing things for Him!
