The Log Church

First days of mission trips are nervous exciting, not knowing what to expect. But at the end of the day, these strangers become your closest friends. 

Today was great! All the team members got to Santa Familia safe and sound by midday. The first hours together went too fast that we already had our first church service. The local church had a special service along with some of the churches in the village and neighboring towns. The churches worked together to make food sale for a person that recently had undergone surgery.

It was wonderful to see how people unite and worship the living God regardless of different denominations.

The team is connecting really well with all the locals! It’s a great blessing to serve these kids. We are all having so much fun and meeting new friends.

This morning we were encouraged by the wise advices of a lady who’s body had more than 17 surgeries. The team was thrilled hearing her story. God has a purpose for our lives! 

We made a lot of new friends this week and it was always fun to Be around them every day.
