Ready to meet our team!

We are excited to see what God has in store for us this week! 

This morning we experienced the church service at Providence Church of Christ. The message was on 1 John 3:16-18 and what it means to love with actions. Afterward, we heard about the history of the church from the church elders.

We are excited for Vacation Bible School later!

We are feeling loved and welcomed into the church community. Can't wait to meet even more people!

Getting things ready for tonight! So excited to get started and meet everyone! 

The time has come! We have been waiting all day to meet everyone. We are having so much fun and cannot wait to see what the week has in store for us!

Face & body painting fun tonight! 

The theme for Vacation Bible School this week is the Fruit of the Spirit. The team presented an incredible skit about our first Fruit of the Spirit: love! 

We are here at Franklin Farm! We are ready to get our hands dirty! This farm produces vegetables to supply food pantries and food banks in Providence.

We are out here weeding, raking, and staking the tomatoes. We are also enjoying the fresh air and taking in all the beauty that God has provided us.

We are so blessed to have the opportunity to meet these wonderful people from the community. We can't wait to learn more about God's kindness and how God has shown us kindness each day. How can you spread kindness today?

Ending the day with some friendship bracelets after a lesson about kindness. 

We are back and even more motivated! We have loved using our talents and gifts that God has given us. We cannot wait to continue to serve this beautiful community!

Today part of the team served at Elder Williams' house from Providence Church of Christ to clear out all these weeds and bushes in order to put down mulch outside of his fence! 

Today we prepared lunch bags and wrote an encouraging message on each one. We filled the bags with peanut butter and jelly, deli sandwiches, fruit snacks, bars, goldfish, fruit, and water! Can't wait to pass them out!

We were able to use some of our talents at Sister Ellen's house by painting some rooms! We are so blessed to have met such an amazing person.

Today was our last day of VBS. We have been so blessed to have met all of these wonderful kids and will miss them all! We all got to learn about what God's peace looks like and what it feels like. Where have you found peace today?

Putting on the finishing touches. We were able to finish the second coat in the rooms and are now doing the ceiling and trims. So excited to see it when we finish!

Finishing up the trim! So thankful to God for allowing us to meet Sister Ellen and having us use our gifts to help her. 

Today we finished mulching the outside part of Elder Williams house as well as spreading gravel for his front driveway. Here’s the finished product of the mulch from what it started as earlier this week.

It was a blessing to serve Elder Williams and his family this week!

Today was our last day at the farm. We loved being able to help out and know that we are making such a big difference. We even got to end the day with a team-building activity! We are now stronger with our communication and teamwork!
