Amazing Sunday!

by Denny Meints | March 13, 2016 11:14 PM

Today was an awesome day! We started our day by leading Sunday school - we split into groups, many of us had the opportunity to share testimonies or devotions with the local congregation. In the afternoon, we had time to go to the beach and enjoy some R&R with the locals! It was so refreshing to swim in the Caribbean! This evening we worshipped with Pastor Rodas and his congregation. Looking forward to so much more this week!

Clinics!

Our first day of clinics went smoothly! We set up tents and met the local residents of Consejo and gave free medical care for those who had need!

Fun

by Denny Meints | March 15, 2016 11:00 PM

Tonight we went around and shared words that we felt described our days. Many different words were picked: relationships, intentional, laughter, awe, great - but I think we all agreed that a word that could ultimately sum up this day was "fun". We went to the Mayan temple site called, 'Altun ha' and then spent the afternoon with children in Xiabe. So many great conversations and laughter asking the way!

What a great week! So many successful clinics and time with local children. We so enjoyed our trip with Dr. Rodas and feel blessed to have been here this week!

Jane, I'm so glad I could help you out, and that you were able to find the right blog, although you can check out any of the blogs by clicking on them. Our Jonathan is leading the Jamaican group. This PPM page is so easy and well designed to make it easy for us parents to keep up with their work and adventures. :-) ~~deb

For those looking for updates on the Orange Walk Belize group, there are two Bethel U. groups in Belize right now. Go to: www.prayingpelicanmissions.org and click on the first Bethel University Belize group blog. That one is covering the blog for that group.
