Church Service

by Trent Anderson | July 24, 2016 9:09 PM

This morning we had a beautiful service at Church! It was so great to partner with all of our brothers and sisters in Christ. At the end of service we had the opportunity to go up front and pray with the local church members. What a way to start!

In the afternoon we went to la gancha (soccer field/basketball court) and played with the kids in the community. We spent time playing soccer, playing volleyball, and building relationships! At the end we gathered all of the kids together to share a Bible story and invite them to our VBS this week. We can't wait to see them tomorrow!

by Trent Anderson | July 25, 2016 10:40 PM

This morning we walked the community visiting homes, hearing life stories, and praying with the people of San Dionisio. We heard some tough stories but we are so thankful we had the opportunity to meet these families where they were at and pray with them.

Pastor Umberto's Church Plant!

by Trent Anderson | July 26, 2016 10:27 PM

Today Pastor Umberto brought us to a church he planted in a rural village. The village has about 400 people but there aren't any churches within an hour walk. - The head pastor is a 75 year old man named Cruz. He can't read so he has his family read him scripture and he memorizes it so that he can preach each week. - The total cost of the land: $178 USD - Total cost of the building: $250 USD - Today God showed us perspective.

Praying for God to give each of you exactly what you need to serve today. “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong." 2Cor 12:9-10. Love you guys!
