We made itby Nathan Norman | October 3, 2015 5:52 PM
We have arrived in Costa Rica and are already loving it. We had the opportunity to meet our host pastor, Pastor Jose. We enjoyed hearing his testimony, his call to ministry, and how he has seen God use Praying Pelican Missions in his region. We were honored to be able to pray over him and bless his family, church, and community.

Our hearts are heavy as we have heard of the flooding happening back home. We are praying and believing for God's protection over our communities, church, families and homes. It's hard to stay focused here but we are doing our best!

Persevering Pastorsby Nathan Norman | October 5, 2015 8:20 PM
Today we had the honor to meet 2 Pastors that can only be described as persevering pastors. Against all odds, with God's calling they have continued on. We have been so blessed to hear how God called each one to ministry even when they fought the call.
Ministering in Mourningby Nathan Norman | October 5, 2015 8:36 PM
Today we met Pastora Eva who suddenly lost her husband just two weeks ago. We were a little nervous, not really knowing what we were getting into. BUT GOD! We were shocked as 32 people from the church gathered in a small home to support their grieving pastor. Such love and raw emotion was exchanged. We were able to go to a meeting room that they hold their services in and prayed over the pastor and her daughter. We ended by walking the new land that they are believing to build a new building that can hold 200 people.

Costa Rica & Nicaraguaby Nathan Norman | October 6, 2015 6:39 PM
Today we met with Pastor Geraldo. His story was so sad, but God has been so good to encourage him and miraculously provide for him. His community, being very close to the border, offers refuge for Nicaraguans who have left their country. God placed the perfect pastor there to guide His precious people.
