We had a beautiful Christmas service tonight at Nicoya church. Afterward, we watched fireworks for an awesome finale. The team is doing well and we are excited for tomorrow.

Beautiful day

by Jonathan Alvarez | December 13, 2015 9:21 AM

This morning Pastor Warner shared his heart and vision for the children of Nicoya and set the stage for our week of ministry. His heart is so full and rich. We are blessed to be able to partner with this great Man of God.
Beautiful day

Feeding Program

by Jonathan Alvarez | December 13, 2015 12:52 PM

We started off with a feeding program for some of the local children. There were about 40 kids that showed up! The team was able to do some arts and crafts, read and teach bible stories, as well as feed all the children.

After a delicious lunch, we visited with the Norman Family in Liberia(they are full time missionaries with PPM). In the evening we worshiped at Zuriel in San Raphael. Four of us were able to share out testimonies of the grace of God with the people of the church.

Please Pray!

by Jonathan Alvarez | December 14, 2015 9:21 AM

Pastor Warner shared with us how Jesus multiplied bread and fish to feed 5,000 people. On Wednesday we will feed around 1,000 children. We have already heard we will not have the 2,200 hot dog buns that were ordered. Impossible with man is possible with God. Please go boldly before the throne of God and ask with us for 2,200 hot dog buns. We can't wait to tell you how God shows up!
Please Pray!

The street

by Jonathan Alvarez | December 14, 2015 12:29 PM

We went door to door in a community and invited many children to Wednesday's party. We also have many opportunities to pray with people!

Many people to invite!

by Jonathan Alvarez | December 14, 2015 1:21 PM

We visited at a park in Nicoya where the children were doing cultural dances. It was so beautiful. God allowed us a great opportunity to pass out flyers about the Christmas party to the hundreds of people there.
Many people to invite!

Party for free

by Jonathan Alvarez | December 15, 2015 11:31 AM

Today we walked around the neighborhoods called Las Palmas and Las Guineas. Our goal was to invite kids for tomorrow's Christmas Party. While there, we got the chance to pray over the sick. It was awesome to see the excitement in our Friend's faces.

Nursing home

by Jonathan Alvarez | December 15, 2015 4:38 PM

We had an awesome afternoon at Nicoya's Nursing Home. While there, we sang Christmas carols, painted finger nails, swapped stories and shared in many laughs. What a blessing to get to love on the older generation.

1200 hot dogs, lots of candy and drinks is quite a challenge, the Lord is our strength.

Great news

by Jonathan Alvarez | December 16, 2015 6:48 AM

We have never been so excited about 2,200 hotdog buns! We were told that it was "impossible" to get that many in time for the party (by man's standard). But God makes the impossible possible! We prayed, you prayed, and we all had faith. Christmas is coming today to 1,000 children and the Gospel is being preached! God is faithful!
Great news
