Setting up

by Meghan Frezza | June 19, 2017 7:42 AM

Today is our first day of the medical clinic! Some of us are getting set up right now at Bertin. We are ready to use the gifts the Lord has given us to minister to the people in the community.

Reunited Again!

It's always so sweet seeing friends again! Building relationships is what missions is all about.

Using our gifts

by Meghan Frezza | June 19, 2017 1:40 PM

We had a great first day at the medical clinic. This group was at Bertin and saw over 100 patients today, and were able to treat people of many ages as well as assist with numerous different medical needs within the community. It has been great to continue building relationships between our team and the one from Alabama, after working together on the mission field for a few years now.

Clinic at Cote Plage!

by Bethany Richardson | June 19, 2017 2:26 PM

We've had a full day at Cote Plage running the clinic! Final numbers aren't official, but we are currently at 130 for the day!

The Cote Plage group had a successful day at their clinic as well. By lunch time we saw 100 people and by the end of the day we saw 160 total. We had the opportunity to share the gospel with a few women today. We are amazed by how many people we have seen so far and cannot wait to see how the rest of the week will go and what the Lord will do.

Tree ministry

by Meghan Frezza | June 20, 2017 8:37 PM

Today was our first day of tree ministry! It was some of our first times and it was such a cool experience. We went to numerous houses in the community and got to share the gospel and pray for each one. We had one salvation today and will continue to pray for her and her growing relationship with the Lord.

Bertin- Day Two

by Meghan Frezza | June 20, 2017 9:27 PM

Our Bertin crew had another busy day today. The numbers keep growing! One thing we have been able to see, is that we get to be an example of Christ for every person we treat. Medical care is what gets people into the door, which opens up a great and simple opportunity to share the gospel with them!

Cote Plage- Day Two

by Meghan Frezza | June 20, 2017 9:32 PM

Cote Plage was just as busy as well. We were able to assist a lot of patients today. It's incredible to be able to use the gift of physical healing on the mission field.

The Power of Prayer

by Meghan Frezza | June 20, 2017 9:35 PM

At each medical clinic site, we have at least one person assigned to pray with the patients if they are willing. Spiritual well being and healing go hand in hand with physical healing. It has been incredible to see how many people were willing to be prayed over, as well as receive the Gospel.

Last day of ministry

by Meghan Frezza | June 22, 2017 7:12 AM

The numbers kept growing yesterday, and so did the number of people we got to speak truth into. Although it was a very busy day, we are so thankful the Lord equipped us to handle every situation we faced.

Christ breaks barriers

by Meghan Frezza | June 22, 2017 7:24 AM

Spent some time with the kids at the church reading scripture in both English and Creole. God is bigger than any barrier the world has.

No better way to learn Creole and for kids to learn English than through reading the Bible together!

Playing with kids

by Meghan Frezza | June 22, 2017 7:37 AM

Enjoyed some down time to play with the kids and build relationships with them! For some of us, they were familiar faces. It is always such a special feeling to come back knowing you already have friends waiting to see you!

Enjoying Haiti

by Meghan Frezza | June 22, 2017 8:39 PM

We wrapped up our medical clinic and got to enjoy seeing a different part of Haiti today. We headed over to the Apparent Project and had a tour of the facility. It was started to give people an opportunity to work and provide for their families. It was a great day of shopping, resting and having good fellowship. We can't believe the week is already over but are so blown away by all the Lord did this week!
