This morning the team heard Pastor Oscar's testimony. It was great to hear about God's faithfulness in his life and to his church. It was a blessing to be able to pray for his family and the local Church.

Futbol!

Movie time

Tonight we hosted a movie night in the local community center. We hope that this serves as a bridge from the community to the Church.

Visit to the elderly home

This morning our team was split into three different groups. One of the groups went to an elderly home. One team was drawing, painting, talking, and singing with the elders this morning. Such a great opportunity to reach the older generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

School ministry

One of Our roups was at the local school sharing some time with the kids. It was a great time to present Jesus to their lives while sharing our testimonies, singing songs, and playing with the kids.

Construction team

Women's ministry

We were able to spend time doing Women's Ministry with people from the local church and community. It was a great time to present Jesus to them while sharing the Word, having communion, and pampering the ladies.

We did some great work in the church with the construction. It was great to be able to work alongside the men of the church as well.

School time

Part of the team went to another school today. It was a great time to present Jesus to the kids by means of testimonies and worship music.

Bonfire

Tonight we had a huge bonfire with the youth from a few of the local churches. We had so much fun singing, getting to know the youth from the community, hear Max preach, and eating marshmallows of course!

Food distribution

Today we went to distribute groceries to some of the community families. Also, we went into a sugar cane factory where some workers and their families live in really bad conditions. We took time to present the Gospel and pray with them while with giving them groceries.

A Community Blessing

Tomorrow this brand new community of government housing will receive it's first residents. This complex is directly across the street from the local church. We prayed that God would bless each home, family, and that would all be drawn to the Kingdom of God.

Fútbol Halftime Devotions

This afternoon we had a soccer competition! It was intense...Costa Rica vs the USA! At halftime Luke and Austin shared a great devotion with the teenagers. We had a blast sharing the love of Jesus today!

Drug Prevention Night

This evening we had the great opportunity to share the Gospel with parents, teenagers, and children at a drug prevention foundation. Many of our team shared their stories of God's grace and forgiveness. Jesus was lifted high in that place!

Elderly Home Day 2

Today was day two at the elderly home and it went awesome. God's hand was always with us and helped us share the Gospel with them.

Rec-day

Yesterday was the time to go and have an adventure in the country. We went to the zip line and everyone had a lot of fun flying through the sky.

We spent our last moments with the church members and people from the community that we built relationships with. We spent time in the local church worshiping, dancing, sharing testimonies and eating some traditional food. Part of our hearts will be forever in Costa Rica!
