City Grace Church

We arrived safely in Haiti! After a long day we are ready for some good rest and are looking forward to church in the morning!

The Lord was definitely at Church this morning at Bwajout. It was great to be able to experience worship in another country, with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Afterward, the Church was kind enough to make us a famous Haitian dish, Pumpkin Soup! After lunch, we headed back to Bwajout for youth ministry! We ended up singing "Bless the Lord" in both languages. It was such a unique experience to praise God through the same song, in two languages. We ended the night with time of fellowship and worship. It has been amazing to see how God has already showed up throughout our trip!

We were able to help out with VBS at Bwajout this morning! We helped out with a fun skit and song that the kids loved!! Later, we got to head to women's ministry. It was great to be able to share with women our struggles and victories in Christ.

Craige worked hard this morning, helping with the extension of the church!

We had the opportunity to visit a home for people with special needs. It was great to love on those kids a little extra!

We had a great day! We spent the morning at Bwajout hanging out with the kids and helping with construction. We had some down time too, and it was great to fellowship and grow closer with the group!! Later we headed over to Cope Lodge, at Pastor Sampsons. This is a partnership that has been around for a while! It was really cool to be able to see another church in Haiti!

We spent the morning passing buckets of sand, which soon turned into concrete. The church was able to finish the ceiling to the new building. After lunch we got to spend time with the kids. Kathy lead a photography class with the youth and the loved it. It was sad to say goodbye to our new friends, but God was so present and moving this week!

We had a great day today! We spent the day at the beach and had a delicious pizza for lunch! It was great to relax and enjoy Haiti for the day.
