Clinic day #1

by Cliff Compere | August 3, 2017 9:20 PM

Right after our devotion this morning we made it to the Mariani church to start our first clinic day and 20 to 30 people were there waiting for us already. As today was a half clinic day we expected 100 people, but we ended up seing 124 people a great step toward our goal, and at the same time some of us take time to enjoy the company of the kids sang some songs did some crafts. It was a great day. Keep praying for us back home, it's needed.

Another day in Haiti

by Cliff Compere | August 4, 2017 10:45 PM

Another beautiful day with an incredible team in Haiti. We have made it to the church earlier today, started with the clinic as soon as we got there. We were expecting 150, but 158 people were being seen. Countless smiles of gratitude. It was a blessing to be able to see some of the patients from last year who came back with a big smile on their faces to say thank you, part of them a little girl who came last  year and was having difficulty walking, she came in today with big steps. It was another great day in Haiti. What a blessing for us to able to be God's hand and feet in Haiti this week. Prayers are still needed.

VBS round 2!

by Cliff compere | August 4, 2017 10:53 PM

What could make our day better than time with kids. While clinic was happening a part of the team got to do VBS with the kids. We started off with some songs and did some crafts. It was an intense moment "Being able to spend time with them and share the love of Christ with them is so special!

Clinic day #3

by Cliff Compere | August 6, 2017 9:51 PM

Yesterday was another great day, 150 more patients, for a total of 432 seen in three days. Each day we've had patients return, with their family, to thank us for care they received last year. It was great to see God using us to serve him while he is using each ones' talents for the glory of his kingdom. We bless him, and wait to see what else He has in Store for us through out the rest of this week.

Clinic day #3

A wonderful Sunday.

by Cliff Compere | August 7, 2017 7:33 AM

Yesterday's church service was more than awesome. We have no word to describe it. We kicked it off with a moment of blessing in worship. We had the chance to worship alongside our Haitian brothers. We can tell you that despite the language barrier, we could still feel God's presence there. We loved how they made us feel included in the service, making time for us to share a few of our stories. So we had Beth and Ashley who shared their stories with the church Brandi and Erin who sang for us.

After service we got invited by pastor Valcourt to eat lunch with him that his wife made and it was so delicious. Then we headed back to our lodging. After that we got in the bus and drove through the city to a nice lookout and hung out there for a few hours. We are just amazed of the natural beauty of this place. We have one more day to go here, and can't wait to see what God is going to do within that day through. Let's pray God for strength as we are looking forward to our last ministry day Today.

A wonderful Sunday.
