GLS Next Gen on Mission
PPM and GLS Next Gen have joined forces around our shared vision to awaken and activate leaders across the world.
WHAT IS GLS NEXT GEN?
The Global Leadership Summit Next Gen is the youth and young adult-focused branch of the Global Leadership Network. GLS Next Gen awakens young leaders in their leadership, faith, and life journey to help them become a force for good in their world for Jesus Christ.
WHAT DOES THIS LOOK LIKE?
These are trips led by Praying Pelican Missions that partner your team with a local host partner to build up, encourage, and assist the local Church. In addition to the many ministry options available to our teams as they serve their host partner, teams that opt into a GLS Next Gen component will be able to leverage the incredible resources of the Global Leadership Network as a part of their week of service. Leadership development opportunities will be folded into the trip itinerary and team meetings, all tailored to how it is best implemented at that particular partner's church.
A few practical ways this can be implemented:
A one-day youth leadership training
Investment in young leaders from the church and/or community
Evening team debrief meetings with Global Leadership content
This world-class, Christ-focused, training will bring incredible value to you, your team, and the local community. Not only will your mission team receive blessing and training from utilizing these resources, but the local pastor and community will as well.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
As a PPM team, our staff will assist you in navigating the resources provided by GLS Next Gen and will work in conjunction with your local host partner and you to figure out how the local community can benefit from the trainings and resources provided.

MISSION TRIPS
We believe that healthy short-term mission trips are possible by building upon genuine partnerships, long-term relationships, and sustainable ministry. When your team partners with us for a mission trip, your group will work directly alongside local churches and ministries where you can help to meet real needs, identified by local leadership.
PPM365
PPM365 is a continuous effort to build up, encourage, and assist the local Church 365 days a year. By sponsoring a church's involvement in this program, pastors and ministry leaders will receive local support, training, and encouragement, leading to transformed communities in the name of Christ.
DISASTER RESPONSE
When disasters strike, the Church is on the front lines of response and relief efforts, working with local authorities and organizing grassroots efforts to meet the needs of their communities. PPM comes alongside these efforts, providing the necessary resources, support, and help to advance the work of our local partners.
