After a delicious breakfast & morning devos, we are on our way to worship God and meet with Pastor Alfredo at our partner church for the week!

We enjoyed some joyful worship, the funny sermon, and hearing God's Word at Vida Iglesia this morning. After, we got to spend some time hearing about Pastor Alfredo's personal story, his call to ministry, and the ways God has been faithful to His work here at Vida Iglesia and the Down Syndrome Association.

We are painting today and adding a lighter color to the walls in the lobby at the church/Guatemalan Association for Down Syndrome. This will be a bright welcome to all who enter for school or church!

The older students are making and selling bracelets to learn some new skills. The skills they develop here at school can help them take care of themselves, and hopefully get a job as they become more self-sufficient. Plus they are making some cool bling!

All our new friends at the Guatemalan Association for Down Syndrome! The staff work hard to care for their students every single day, and we were glad to help them out in their classrooms this week. Before they left, we prayed that God would continue to strengthen them to do this incredible work.

After a wonderful week of partnership, we joined the church for one last evening of worship as a unified body of Christ. Pastor & Pastora thanked us for the projects we completed and the example of service we gave them, and we thanked them for all the blessings they gave us!
