After a long day of travelling from home to get to Jamaica we are finally here!!! We are so excited to be here! Now it's worship time as we join together as one to worship our king and creator!

Today as we worship together as one body at Jacob's Well in Salt Marsh we asked God's Holy Spirit to rain down on us, we're so thankful for the opportunity to worship with our brothers and sisters in Christ!

No better way to begin the day than with worship. Indeed we are humbled and blessed to be apart of the children's morning devotion. To see the joy on their little faces and the ways in which their little eyes were filled with life and love for Jesus was amazing.. The team's day is off to a beautiful start and to God be all the glory. We anticipate what the day has to offer for us. God is indeed in our midst. #ChildLikeFaith. #ThePelicanLife.

On the mission field we ought to be flexible! Our first day of school ministries allowed us to regroup, rethink, and be flexible as it was scheduled for us to only do school ministries today however, we did both school ministries and started our painting project it was a very successful and productive day! God is good! God is great!! #thepelicanlife

Big hugs coming from a small heart. What a beautiful way to be greeted. One of our team members was greeted with one of the biggest hugs possible from this gorgeous little angel at the Jacob's Well Basic School. The love of God is truly evident in this place and among these little angels. P.S Jesus loves the little children. #ThePelicanLife

As we wrap up our final day at the school and orphanage, we smile because these children have been etched in our hearts forever. The team has done an amazing job working together and being flexible saying, "no problem man".
It wasn't easy but by God's grace we did it. We thank the Lord for this amazing opportunity to serve Him and for our youth to experience something greater than themselves. The Lord is loved, lives are changed and we can't wait for the next God adventure while still enjoying the precious company of each other and our friends from Crossroads Church in Colorado.

After working for the 3 days painting and teaching the kids we've come to the last of it, complete the painting project and leaving a huge impact on the kids as they do the same for us and finding a new family in Christ . We were also rewarded with a certificate of there appreciation and love for helping them out throughout this week. God is good!

I've heard it said... leadership is influence. This team of leaders we have had this week are God's best. They have set an example in their speech, their kindness, their love, their support, and their love for God. It's been amazing to see them wholeheartedly love and serve others. Matthew 23:11 says the greatest among you will be the servant of all. They are truly the greatest!
Thank you to each one of you for serving us and loving us! You are the greatest!
