We arrived in Mayfield!!! After unloading and settling in, we spent some time in prayer with our team! We can feel God moving, and we cant wait to see how He uses us this week!

Today we were able to spend our Sunday morning with the High Point community worshiping God! It was awesome to get to know the people in their community and experience how welcoming they are!
Afterwards, we broke for lunch, and then we met up with another Praying Pelican Team in Mayfield. Together, we all started to prayer drive throughout the Mayfield area.
We stopped at a local church that Praying Pelican works with and prayed over them as well as the other local churches in the area! It was awesome to see believers from all over the United States come together in support of the Mayfield community.
We can't wait to see how God answers our prayers and we cant wait to see how He moves tomorrow!

Today was our first full day of ministry! Our team split up to different ministry sites throughout the Mayfield area and we all saw God move in incredible ways!
One of our teams helped to demolish a wall in a local church! This wall separated two small rooms, which the church wants to use as a classroom for students. With the wall taken down, they can now use that space to fulfill their needs! We worked with smiles on our faces! All of us enjoyed using the sledgehammers while we got to know each other and laugh through the drywall and wooden beams!
We can't wait to serve and see how God moves around us as we head out into the community tomorrow!

Today we were able to go door to door throughout the Mayfield community. We carried bags that contained Gospel tracts, a Bible, and some information about High Point Church.
We went from street to street, knocking on people's doors and handing out these bags as well as praying for those who answered the door! It was awesome to see how God moved in the people we talked to and we can't wait to see how God moves tomorrow!

Throughout the week we have been helping with multiple different ministries, ranging from door to door outreach to demolition, and we have seen God move in many powerful ways as we have served in Mayfield Kentucky!
To help prepare us for each day, we spend time as a team talking about how God moved around us today; We talk about what we saw on our "Holy Ghost Radar." Hearing how others have seen God move helps inspire and strengthen us.
These nightly meetings always end in prayer, and each night we feel God strengthen us to serve again in the morning. We can't wait to see how God moves tomorrow!

High Point Church threw a block party that we were able to help set up and run! There were bouncy houses, cotton candy, games, amazing food, and face painting! Our team was able to connect with multiple individuals from the community and have multiple awesome God talks with those that attended the block party!
It was awesome to see how God moved in the block party, and we cant wait to see how He moves tomorrow!
