Faithbridge Student Life

We are so blessed to be staying at Andover Christian Church where we got to meet our host pastor and even spend some time outside fellowshipping on the playground. It was a music filled evening as we got to attend a beautiful upbeat concert performed by a community choir and then two members of the team led us in worship later in the night. We are now settling in for the night and looking forward to more worship and fellowship tomorrow!

We attended Sunday school with the youth group here at Andover Christian Church (ACC) and the Spirit was on the move during our host pastors sermon during the main service. Then we worked together with people from ACC to move lots of supplies and cleaned out items in storage so they can begin work on an addition to the church for children’s ministry. The lovely ladies of ACC cooked us a wonderful meal and we enjoyed fellowshipping with them after an afternoon of hard work. 

Today we headed to North Minneapolis to serve with the members of Shiloh temple. We did lots of landscaping and had to get innovative to freshen up the main entrance for the pastors conference they are hosting this weekend. This front area was having a hard time growing grass so we laid stone and pavers, weeded around the building and laid new mulch. God blessed us with beautiful weather, the opportunity to pray with one of the church pastors, and we were able to get so much done!

Today was our rec day and we spent the day at Valleyfair which is an epic amusement and water park. We rode lots of coasters and hung out in the wave pool. It was such a blessing to fellowship and grow closer as a team while having fun and preparing for the days of work ahead. 

Tonight we got dinner at Pizza Ranch with the our host pastor here at Andover Christian Church and his wife as well as the president of Praying Pelican Missions, Jim Noreen and his son. The food was fabulous and the fellowship was even better. 

Today we got to serve with Hospitality House Youth Directions. We did some landscaping, deep cleaned bathrooms, and cleaned out 5 vans that they use to take kids on field trips. It was a hot work but like we were talking about during devotion time last night the Holy Spirit is with us and we were able to get it done!

We are back at Hospitality House! Today we painted two rooms, deep cleaned the kitchen, and wiped down all the bleachers. Many hands make light work and good company makes it even better!
