We were able to attend a Pittsburgh Pirates VS Philly's MLB game today, and watched the Pirates come from behind to win the game in the 10th inning! Go Bucs!

Tree Pittsburgh

Monday was our first work day and one of the teams visited Tree Pittsburgh and we did some landscaping. We were taught about the invasive weeds to pull to make room for the good plants to grow.

After weeding the areas, we took bucketfuls of mulch to the areas and made the area look so much nicer.

Spotted Lanternfly Lesson

The Spotted Lanternfly is an invasive insect that is multiplying quickly in the Pittsburgh area. We were shown the different life cycles and found a lot crawling around the area.

Today the whole Cloverhill Church team worked at the Light of Life Rescue Mission’s food bank. We helped organize, pack, and distribute boxes of food to residents.

The Holy Spirit was Present

A group of teens sat and talked with a young boy outside of the distribution center and came together and prayed for him. It was a very moving moment to witness.

The team worked efficiently to get boxes of food to people's cars in record time. The walk to their car gave them time to talk with the people and opened up opportunities for prayer.

WATER FUN!

WATER you waiting for??? Water fun at VBS on our final night at Cornerstone Church!! The team and kids had a great time of worship with flashing light sticks, a fun craft, and a yummy snack. They finished the night out with a slip n slide, water shooters and water balloons! It was a splashin’ good time!

Primanti Bros. For Dinner

A trip to Pittsburgh isn’t complete until we have a dinner at the famous Primanti Bros. Restaurant. The sandwiches vary in meat options but are piled with fries and slaw on fresh Italian bread.
