Asbury is n Jamaicaby Brent Kirk | March 12, 2016 5:39 PM
The team has arrived safe and sound! Everyone and everything made it to Jamaica. Not bad for 100 people. No lost bags. We started the afternoon with a Jamaica lunch specialty; the Jamaican Patti and Coco bread! We then loaded up 6 buses and headed for the lodging facility. Most are settled in and many are using the pinned up energy to play a little ball. Tonight we will have dinner, worship and devotions. Then a good nights sleep. We will worship in 3 different churches in the morning and I know the students will enjoy the cultural experience!
Thank you for sending the team to Jamaica and for all the blessing the team will be this week. I cannot wait to see what God will do in and through the team. Please pray for the team this week as they serve and for lives to be changed for His Glory!
In the beginning God!by Brent Kirk | March 12, 2016 10:07 PM
What a great way to end the evening. After a great dinner the team met in their small groups for a short while. Then we spent some time in worship together as a large group. Words cannot express what my heart felt. Beautiful words of praise and love lifted to God. Heartfelt, genuine, authentic is what I would call it. In the beginning God! That's what tonight was. Katelyn then shared some words and a challenging question. "What are you here for?"great question. I know God will reveal to each one the answer. Can't wait to see and hear!

Relationshipsby Brent Kirk | March 16, 2016 8:35 PM
Brick and mortar is great but nothing is better than building relationships! The local children love to talk with team members and get to know them. What great opportunities to share to gospel/
