Saturday night the team arrived into Santo Domingo just after 5PM. After a long wait through customs and immigration the team loaded the bus and headed to La Romana. We arrived at the hotel just after 9 PM and sat down to dinner.
Worship Service

Last night the team got their first taste of worshiping the Lord here in the Dominican Republic. There was three languages(Spanish, Haitian Kreole and English) used but we were all worshipping the same God.
Games/VBS

This morning most of the team played kickball and wiffle ball with the children of Batey Bermejo. This afternoon they are teaching the kids about Jesus from the book of Luke.
Hard work

A few members of the team surveyed and then got started on the construction project. There are over 2,300 blocks to install so we wanted to get a jump start on the work.
Progress Continues

The team moved over a thousand block yesterday in the continuation of the church construction. They made sure the masons never ran out of block or mortar.
