Rivers Crossing Global

After a long day full of flights our team settled down at the house and took a break in order to be ready to serve God during the whole week!

At the beginning of our baptism service our team got to sing some worship songs that have also been translated into Spanish. What a lovely thing to worship Christ as one.

After finishing our meeting, our team took a break and played basketball with some of the people from the communities that came and participated with us. It was awesome!

Today we got the opportunity to play soccer with some of the kids and young adults from La Verbena. We laughed, we ran and we definitely had lots of fun.

Yesterday our team joined the kids in their soccer match. The kids were tough and even though there were good sprints and nice movements, there was only one way to solve it, PENALTIES!!!

After lunch one of our teammates, Jada, shared her testimony and told the crowd the story about Jesus and the Samaritan woman, reminding everybody that God has given us a message to share in our communities and inspiring them to go out and tell many others about Jesus and His love.

 Today, our team bought some apple juice boxes and cookies so they would enjoy eating a snack and be ready to spend a day full of fun with us!

After lunch, the girls from our team took time to share some of their stories with the women from these communities. They shared some Guatemalan recipes with us and asked us to never stop praying for them and their lives.

During our last day, our teammates did their best to enjoy their time with their little kids while playing soccer, basketball and much more games.

Many little kids really enjoyed playing soccer. Not thinking about school, homework, issues at home, none of that. Just a lot of fun with some very tall guys who spoke the same sport language, GOOOOOL!

After lunch, we divided men and women in two different teams and the girls from our team shared their testimonies, got into very good and deep conversations and at last, they prayed for all those women while they were also praying for our team.

After laughing, talking and praying for one another our team took a picture with the girls from Sakerti, La Limonada and other communities as a way to remember them until they come back again.
