Fayetteville Christian School

The team made it safely to Camp Pearl last night where we will be lodging! It was a late night and a long drive but we know this week will be worth it. We're off and running now working at three different work sites! Please pray for energy today!

This week, our team is in four groups, where three are doing house projects (mucking, gutting, roofing) through Operation Hope, and one is doing much needed trail clearing work at Camp Pearl. In the afternoon, one of the groups will travel around the community for grocery box distribution through Christian Baptist Church. Pictured is Mrs. Ake's group preparing boxes this morning. 

Our team's energy was incredible, and we have already gotten so much done! We've had powerful interactions in the community and are super expectant for what's ahead the rest of the week. 

A full muck out project takes lots of work. Our house teams have been killing it!!

Some of our team ended projects early for the day so we stopped by Lake Charles for some sunshine and fresh air! Now to Tad’s Louisiana Cooking for dinner!

All smiles! The rooftop guys worked quickly and with excellence! 

We attended Christian Baptist Church’s service and got to talk with a lot of their members, keeping in mind COVID-19 restrictions. This marked the end of our ministry in Gulf Coast! It has truly been an impactful week, filled with hard work and lasting memories.
