We made it to Nicaragua safely.  We are excited to be serving in the community of La concepcion, Managua to glorify the name of Jesus. 

We had our first meal in Nicaragua and we really loved Tip-Top fried chicken.  We can't wait to try more delicious meals from this beautiful country.

We went to Salvador Allende port to explore a little bit the city of Managua. When we got there the view towards the lake of Managua was very impressive. 

We are very amazed with God's creation here in Nicaragua.  We went to Catarina overlook and had an incredible panoramic view of the Apoyo Lagoon and Mombacho volcano.  We enjoyed our time!

We had our first service at Bethel Church. We enjoyed making connections with the local people and worshiping together as a one family. 

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[c] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself"

Today we were able to destroy an old wooden structure in order to build a new structure with a new roof at Bethel Church.  This project will benefit the congregation to have a better place to worship God.

We had our first VBS at Bethel Church this afternoon. We had so much fun playing with the kids. We shared the story of Daniel and the lions' den. It was truly a blessing to teach to these kids that God is always with us and that He will never forsake us. 

During VBS we had the opportunity to do some crafts.  The kids enjoyed making crafts based on the Bible story of Daniel and the lions's den.

We are making progress in the construction of the new structure for the Church. We painted some metal beams that will be used for the new roof.

How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.

We are here to serve, love and  share the love of Christ with all the people from this community.  We love praying for them and for their families.

We went to Leon to do the Volcano Boarding. We hiked for about one hour to get the top of the active volcano Cerro Negro and then we slid down. It was once in a lifetime time experience and we loved it.

Today was a volcano day!
