Memorial Baptist Church Pasadena

We arrived to Alaska!! We explored downtown Anchorage today and had a lot of fun. We had Arctic Roadrunner for dinner and then a toured the church. 

For dinner we went to Mirror Lake and enjoyed time together. We played some volleyball, kickball and hillbilly golf. We had Hula Hands for dinner which was super good! We are excited to get the work week started! 

One group stayed at the church to help set up for VBS. 

We had our first night of VBS last night. We split into groups and had some with kids and some with teens. We talked about the story of Jonah. We played games, did crafts and had snacks. We had so much fun. 

Beans is a soup kitchen that we worked at in the morning. They serve two meals a day to the homeless population. 

This morning we packed some lunch to be delivered to different places for kids to eat.

At Beans today we patted out a ton of hamburger patties! We had a lot of fun and love serving here at Beans. 

The craft at VBS is making clown cars and Landon is the best helper. 

Today was our last day serving at Lunch Box. We sorted food and looked for expired dates on food. We also cleaned the walls behind the stove and cleaned the stove.
