Faith Fellowship

The staff is ready and excited to start a week of ministry!  We pray for blessings over the community of Santa Cruz and Guayabal!  

We made it to Costa Rica safe and sound!  After a long ride we were welcomed with hugs from Pastor Odir and his wife!  We loved seeing them again! 

This morning we gathered together as one body to worship and praise the Lord! 

At this service this morning we were invited to join the dance team during worship!

Serena, Dustin, and Megan shared what God has done in their lives.  It is an amazing thing when we can share our struggles and triumphs with others, and give God all the glory!

Pastor Gary shared this morning about having faith in the Lord!  He used the example of Moses and Joshua and how they moved forward no matter what, instead of complaining about everything in life! 

After lunch, we had the opportunity to hear Pastor Juan Carlos and his wife’s hearts. They shared about their struggles in ministry and victories. 

This afternoon, we came back to the church in Guayabal to meet with Pastor Odir and his wife.  We heard what God has done in their lives and ministry this past year! 

This afternoon we went with members of the Church to invite the community to the Movie Night that is happening tonight. 

While we were inviting people, we got to make new friends from the church! 

We started very early this morning with the construction project. We are helping to build the new showers for the church.

While some of the team stayed at the church working on the construction project and spending time with the children, the rest of us went shopping for Food Distribution. We will be blessing 30 families! 

This afternoon we poured concrete into the hole we made this morning for the new showers. It was a good day's work!

This afternoon we had two separate ministries.  A group of us led women's ministry at the church, and the rest of us did food distribution in the community.  We could see God’s love and mercy and we have a new brother in Christ!  Praise the Lord! 

Today, we began our day with a great activity: Craig and Stephanie’s vow renewal! We are so happy to be witnesses of the love they have for eachother. 

When the water is off for the day, you pull it up from the well! The work of concrete mixing must go on.

This afternoon we delivered 13 more bags of food to different families around the community. We had the blessing to witness God’s hand and mercy as one more person accepted Jesus into her heart! Praise the Lord! 

We sang Happy Birthday to Pastor Juan Carlos and presented him with a beautiful cake! 

“For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put into Christ” Galatians 3:27 (NIV) 

Today is our last day of ministry.  We have been working on the roof of the bathrooms and a tank for the showers. The roof is done! 

Today was our last day with these amazing kids!  We shared about the 10 Commandments, did a craft, and played with water. The kids had so much fun learning and playing with us! 

We delivered the last 10 bags of food that blessed many families around Santa Cruz. And we have another sister in Christ!!!!

After a great week of hard work, we enjoyed a wonderful day of recreation. We went zip lining, saw some amazing animals, and enjoyed the beach. How beautiful is what God has created for us to enjoy!
