PPM Disaster Response: Morocco Earthquake

Friday September 8th Morocco was hit by a devastating earthquake.  Moroccan state media has reported 2,901 people have been confirmed deceased, with another 5,500 more people injured.  The loss of life is staggering and the heartache is immense.  Rescue operations are still underway as they search for survivors in the rubble.  International aid groups are saying Morocco faces a huge challenge in responding and assisting the over 300,000 people displaced by the earthquake.  PPM is staying abreast of the situation by maintaining contact with some of the international aid groups we have worked with.  Please pray for the people affected by this terrible earthquake.  Pray for the safety of the survivors as many of them are now living in tents throughout the affected cities.
