by Brian Zeschke July 1, 2012 at 10:11 PM After a full day of travel we've finally arrived and settled into our "hotel" for the week. Thank you for your prayers and continue them as we await to see how God uses us this week.

Jamaica Day 3
by Sawyer, Syd, Sarah July 3, 2012 at 10:18 PM Well today was trying. We went up the mountain to Unity, where we continued work on the chicken coop. That went well and we are pleased with the progress. The day got a little crazy after that. We went back down the mountain to the town Falmouth where we planned to do VBS and women's ministry for the afternoon. Sadly, the VBS fell through again, but the women's ministry was somewhat successful. We kept in mind that God has a plan and works in mysterious ways, so we took advantage of the extra time to walk the streets of Falmouth, praying for anything that came to mind. Everyone is doing great and is looking forward to Day 4.
Jamaica Day 4by Sarah, Sawyer, Syd July 4, 2012 at 09:55 PM Today we went to Deeside to a primary school where we put our VBS supplies to good use. We had a great time, the children were every excited to have us there and we were happy to see that God had other plans for us after the disappointment with VBS this week. After primary school we headed back to the chicken coop. It's coming along! We had a good day, with only a few close calls, and are excited for our last day of ministry tomorrow! Everyone* is doing great and is looking forward to Day 5.
Jamaica Day 5
by Sawyer, Syd, Sarah July 5, 2012 at 10:17 PM Today was our last day of planned ministry, and everything fell into place. God's plan was revealed as we finished the chicken coop and Doug ceremoniously released the chicks into the coop. We also got to go to the infirmary this morning and it was an emotional experience. There we met "the least of these" and that the director of the care center was truly a saintly woman. Everyone is doing great and is looking forward to Day 6. Find out more about our trips to
