Hey everybody we arrived in Jamaica safe and sound. after having some cold water we headed off to Grenge hill our home for the next few days. looking forward to a wonderful week despite the tropical storm watch,and everything seem to be safe right now.God bless you all continue to pray for us.

hey everyone! so we embarked on our first day of Vacation Bible School. It started with us having a lovely breakfast of eggs, toast, calaloo, coffee and juice. We then headed to our church location where we had a fabulous time with the children and adults alike. We continue to look forward to a lovely week. Keep us in your prayers continually.

After a normal evening of chasing mice, catching moths & sweating profusely, we had an awesome day of VBS & visiting the infirmary. the sweet and joyful residents blessed us beyond measure. They sang and shared scripture with us and we prayed together. It's kind of funny how we went to minister to them, and they ended up ministering to us. VBS is going really well and the number of children are increasing each day. They love to play football (soccer) and do crafts. They are so appreciative of everything we brought for them and for us to love on them. They are eager to learn and hear about the "hidden treasures" that Jesus offers. Please continue to pray for strength & perseverance as we are tired and out of our comfort zones. We know that God is doing amazing things here, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the week holds. Thank you & praise de Lort! Yeah mon!

Today while in Jamaica we did our 3rd day in vacation Bible school. Each day the number gets bigger. I came here hoping to make a difference in someone's life. Hopefully I have accomplished that goal but everyday I have been deeply touched by a child or someone else. The power of God is amazing here and I have been able to grow closer to God in my experiences. I came on this trip by myself and was put in a group with Red Bank Baptist Church. They welcomed me into their group with open arms and the youth group is an amazing group. I want to thank them for being so good to me and helping grow closer to God.
