The team has safely arrived in Belize and we are all settled into Crooked Tree Nazarene. We have all just begun to get to know some of the kids in the village and are on our way with Vacation Bible School!!

Crooked Tree Village has been amazing for the team so far!! Saturday morning, everyone got together and ran the first day of VBS at the Nazarene Church. Many kids came and had a really fun time with us. Late in the afternoon, everyone participated in a service project of choice. Some painted the inside of the church, some worked on the back building of the church and some of the team walked around the village meeting the locals in their homes. We encountered a little bit of rain but for the most part the weather has been warm, clear, and just the right amount of breezy.

After service projects, the team all walked over to the basketball courts and cricket field to do some sports ministry. It was such a great time to connect with the kids of Crooked Tree and start building those impactful relationships. We all met such incredible and loving people yesterday. Many in Crooked Tree have already heard of the team being here and are excited and thankful for so many willing and ready to do God's work.

Sunday morning services were wonderful! They were such a great opportunity to reach out to the elder group of people from the village. Each individual team came together as one to create a family of pelicans. Everyone has been working so well together, and really focusing on bringing the glory to God more than themselves. We heard some amazing testimonies, worship music, an impactful message and even got to watch a skit put on by some of the team.
This afternoon the team will have more opportunities to get to know the village where they are serving better and to find more children to connect with.

Continue to pray for the team's safety and energy as they put forth all they have every day! God is obviously working in these young people's lives.
