A walk back in time...
by PPM Staff July 24, 2010 at 05:50 PM Flash back to July 25th, 2009... The St. Andrew's Youth Mission team was in Jamaica, right here in Kellits serving with the Staceyville circuit. It was the beginning of something special. Check out the trip journal....
We're back in Kellits!
by PPM Staff July 25, 2010 at 09:09 PM The 2010 St. Andrew’s mission team arrived safely in Montego Bay this afternoon. After a wonderful lunch at the Pork Pit, we began the long journey to Kellits High School. Arriving early this evening, everyone settled in and we had a great dinner prepared by Mrs. Barrett and her team of cooks who helped last year also. We just finished the night with a team meeting and a time of training in the area of generating conversations. This will be used as a tool by our team to minister to the people near the Staceyville church all week. We’re all tired and going to bed. Ready for an amazing week of ministry!
Mondayby PPM Staff July 26, 2010 at 08:50 PM We spent the morning on Monday canvassing the area and inviting folks to our Vacation Bible School at the Staceyville Church as well as the block party we hosted at the church this evening.
A little futbolby PPM Staf July 26, 2010 at 09:04 PM Soccer (or futbol) is a great way to break ground with the older guys...
A cookout and block party!by PPM Staff July 26, 2010 at 09:05 PM Our team's cookout and block party in Sandy River at the Staceyville Baptist Church was a huge success. The cook crew began preparing food mid afternoon and the night didn't finish until close to nine.
Over 200!by PPM Staff July 26, 2010 at 09:08 PM It's estimated that over 200 people were fed or showed up to the block part and cookout at the church. Praise God for all HE did through our team!

Wednesday
by PPM Staff July 28, 2010 at 09:15 PM Today has been an amazing day. We saw over 160 children come to the VBS where they received their printed pictures that were photographed the day before by Lora. They put them in a frame and decorated them as a reminder of how God loves each one of them individually.
Our last day in Sandy River?!by PPM Staff July 29, 2010 at 03:26 PM Today is our last day in Sandy River serving at the Staceyville Baptist Church. This saddens our hearts as we've had an amazing trip. In this picture you can see some of our team members handing out children's Bibles. We gave one to every family of children that attended VBS this week. There are some extras that we gave to the church to hand out to kids as they return to church on Sunday morning.
Futbolby PPM Staff July 29, 2010 at 03:27 PM On the schedule for ministry today was not only VBS, construction and visits to some shut-ins in the area, but a healthy competitive game of soccer!
Hard at work!by PPM Staff July 29, 2010 at 03:28 PM Some of our team members assisted with the construction of the bathrooms for the Staceyville Baptist Church today.
Moxons and Dunn's River!
by PPM Staff July 30, 2010 at 04:11 PM Our day of fun in the sun began with our typical morning quiet time and devotions at the Kellits High School. We drove two hours north and checked into our hotel- the Moxons Beach Club. It's a beautiful place right on the caribbean ocean with a pool and dining area overlooking the sea. We then went into Ocho Rios and grabbed some lunch- most of us had BK! After lunch a few people chose to return to Moxons to enjoy their afternoon relaxing and the rest of us went to Dunn's River Falls where we climbed the natual water fall flowing from the hills into the ocean. We're awaiting dinner at our hotel and tonight we'll be having our debriefing meeting. It's been an amazing week and it's nice relaxing and reflecting on what God has done. Tomorrow our team leaves at about 2pm. Thanks for all your continued prayers throughout this experience, we can't wait to share more with you! Find out more about our trips to
